The use of various types of plastic mulches in agriculture is increasing today to enhance crop yield and promote earlier plant maturity. Mulch film prevents water loss due to evaporation. Additionally, mulch film reduces plant stress by distributing moisture evenly across the soil surface. Mulch cultivation is generally combined with drip irrigation. In this system, less water and fertilizer penetrate deep into the soil, ensuring that most of it is utilized by plant roots. This not only conserves water but also reduces fertilizer usage. Furthermore, by preventing weed growth, herbicide consumption is reduced to zero.
Mulch is produced in black, silver, and double-sided black colors, with 1% UV protection. The standard widths for this film are 90, 110, and 120 cm, with a thickness of 20 microns and a length of 1150 meters. Custom widths and thicknesses are available upon customer request.
